Using spacedesk app, your iOS device will be converts into a secondary display for Windows PCs and tablets.

The Windows Desktop is displayed on an iOS device:

  • Windows Desktop Extension (x10- sion)
  • Windows Desktop Duplication (mirroring/cloning)

Spacedesk Quick Start Guide

  • Install spacedesk driver software for Windows Primary PC (server) OS.
  • Download spacedesk app for iOS for 2nd device (client).
  • Open spacedesk on mobile phone and connect it computer
  • Network connection: Server and client must be connected on the same LAN or WAN.

Alternative connections:

  • Through Mobile: Hotspot.
  • Through USB tethering.

Windows main machine required

Your computer needs to run Windows 10 or Windows 8.1. Macs are not supported. Dual and multi-monitor configurations are supported. Windows spacedesk drivers need to be installed.

Requires an iOS device

  • Your mobile device is an iPhone, iPad, or a device that can run the spacedesk app. iOS. An iOS device is used as a replacement for the Miracast (Miracast sink) display, AirPlay and WiDi display.
  • Low video streaming performance and higher network load when compared to Miracast and WiDi displays.

Network Requirements:

  • Connect the Windows primary device to the secondary device.
  • Virtual display extension over LAN (Local Area Network) and/or WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network).
  • Network must support TCP/IP protocol.
  • Wireless connection monitor (e.g. Wifi) and remote display for Windows OS on a wired network (e.g. Ethernet).
